Updates effective September 1, 2011:

OnTrac is pleased to announce the expansion of our service area to include Colorado. OnTrac provides time-sensitive package delivery to the seven western states. Ship OnTrac from Colorado and save a transit day on Ground Service! OnTrac Ground uses the same rate zones as national carriers while offering fewer fees and lower surcharges, making it easier for you to integrate us into your existing shipping workflow.

Updates effective August 1, 2011:

OnTrac Ground is the faster, more affordable alternative for regional parcel delivery. Shipments that may take two days to deliver with national carriers, arrive next-day with OnTrac Ground. Plus, fewer fees and surcharges give you more opportunities to save and gain an advantage over your competitors.

Updates effective January 3, 2011:

An Additional Handling Fee will be charged if the following conditions apply:

• Any article that is encased in an outside shipping container made of metal or wood.
• Any cylindrical item, such as a barrel, drum, pail or tire that is not fully encased in a corrugated cardboard shipping container.
• Any package with the longest side exceeding 60 inches or its second-longest side exceeding 30 inches.
• Any package with an actual weight greater than 70 pounds.
• It will not apply to packages qualifying for the Large Package Surcharge (see below).
• OnTrac reserves the right to assess the Additional Handling Fee to any package that, in our sole discretion, requires special handling.

The OnTrac Service Area includes all of California and the major metropolitan areas of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Utah. Some of the ZIP Codes we service are less populated or less accessible than others and carry a higher operating cost. The Delivery Area Surcharge is assessed to offset the cost of providing service to these select areas. Click here for a list of ZIP Codes that will be subject to the Delivery Area Surcharge.

A Large Package Surcharge will be applied to each package when its length plus girth (2*(width+height)) combined exceeds 130 inches, but does not exceed the maximum size of 165 inches. Large packages are subject to a minimum billable weight of 90 lbs. in addition to the Large Package Surcharge. An Additional Handling Fee will not be assessed when a Large Package Surcharge is applied.

A Residential Delivery Fee applies to shipments to a home or private residence, including locations where a business is operated from a home. OnTrac determines the residential or commercial status of an address by the data gathered and provided by Experian QAS, a global information services company.
